TGIF...finally!

Since I always forget about this blog, I'll give you my week in review:

Monday - I took a half day because I had an appointment with my docter in Los Gatos. After a few tests, my doc scheduled me for a end. biopsy this coming wednesday. Oohh...not looking forward to that at all. He also prescribed a probiotic for me ( I didn't know they existed) and sent me on my merry way. Had an early dinner with Franny. He stuffed me up with food since I had to fast for 12 hours. Then, we hung out on our new sectional. That thing is heaven.

Tuesday - Went to work as usual and left at at 11:30 to go to the labs for my b/w. I was starving so I excepted to run in, get picked, and then hop over to a deli for lunch. That definitely didn't happen. Turns out that one of the tests that my dear doc ordered was a fast insulin/glucose test. I had one draw of b/w then drank glucose in less than 5 minutes, then had to sit in my seat for 2 whole hours w/o moving. Strange, very strange since my doc never told me I had to do this. Aargh...but it was true, they called the doc to confirm since I was making such a big deal over it. After the two hours, they took a second draw of b/w from me. Okay, was glad it was over and rushed back to work. Was fine working on some projects when my hubby called me on the phone and forced me to get some food. I got up and started heading towards the cafeteria. I had some goodies in my hand when I started feeling dizzy, hot, and extremely weak....then I collapsed.

That was my first fainting experience outside of my home. It was strange and I hated that people were making a fuss over me. Anyhow, I did some research that night and I found out that 2 hr. glucose test is a test that identifies diabetes even before a person reaches levels that would show on a normal blood test. So, it indicates if you are going to have on-set adult diabetes. Interesting.

Wednesday - Work as freaking usual. Got a call from Jon and I found out Lorraine was in labor. Yippee, my nephew would be popping out any minute. (Okay, it was more like 17 hours - he arrived early thursday morning).

Went home and of course I watched my Big Brother 4. I simply despise that Allison chick. I don't really like Erika either. But how could Jee and Robert be so stupid to ally themselves with Allison knowing damn well that she's a backstabbing ***. I doubt Jee and Robert will survive past the next two weeks.

Since it was on the same time as BB4, I taped Paradise Hotel. YES, I watch that show. Geesh, don't judge me. I think it's pretty entertaining at times. The show doesn't have any commen sense mixed into it, but it's funny watching how the people interact with one another. I also don't see where this game is going ( I don't think the producers do either), since they keep having retarded competitions and boring guests.

I personally do not like the group that is known as the UnDeRdOgS, because frankly they're not underdogs. They have been in the lead for the longest time. They're conniving, irritating, judgemental sorry excuses for human beings...especially that Charla chick. A couple of weeks ago, she was my favorite. Heck, I thought she was sweet and the most mature out of the group. Now, I think she's the worst of them all. Tara is a twit and Dave is a loser. He's a freaking know it all who's really just retarded. He reminds me of someone that I used to work with last year. Eeeeeeeeek! Enough said. The only person who is worth saving is Keith. He's smart and knows how to play the game without pulling his emotions into it.

As far as Zack and the originals coming back.......I know I'm not in the majority, but I really like this idea. I doubt it will be for a long stay, but I hope they stay long enough just to stir some things up a bit for the underdogs and get rid of Charla and Dave. Eeeeek! Sorry, I just can't help getting that yucky feeling when I visualize the faces of these two creatures. Eeeeek! There I go again...

Thursday - Went to work as freaking usual. Left work and visited Lorraine, Jon, and Colin at the hospital. He's adorable and has quite a bit of hair. I'll upload pics tonight. Lorraine is doing well too =)

Friday - I'm at work as freaking usual.

And that has been my week. Nothing exciting, but it kept me pretty busy.

I think I made a new journal record...

4 weeks since I have last written. Boy, I'm so bad. Of course, I've just been extremely busy with everything. Things seem to be calming down, but next month is going to worse than this month...and it's only a few days away.

It's really hard to go into the details of my last few weeks. Things have been happening...I can't really say yet, but it's been happening a whole lot. Don't mean to confuse anyone who's been reading this, but I don't really enjoy spreading news to the whole internet population. Ask me in person and maybe, just maybe, I'll tell ya.

I'm happy to say that I have gotten over the "Darkness Falls" ordeal. It didn't take me two weeks to get back on track as expected. After two days I was definitely a-ok. Maybe because I know that it was just a stupid movie - and an unrealistic and cheesy one at that. I was more frightened over the stories that actually happened. AC - the Orinda story still gives me the chills.

Oh, before I forget. A few birthdays have passed or will be coming around soon, so big hugs to the following people:

Ryan, Brady, Leo, Jay, Ceasar, Paul, JJ, Lorraine, Arlene, Norbert, Chris, Jerome, Ellis, Vincent

We missed the annual August b-day picnic with friends. Francis & I were in LA for a couple of days. We hung out at the 3rd street promenade in Santa Monica, went to a farmer's market in Melrose Place, had dinner on Sunset, and went shopping in Hollywood & Highland. Plus, we found this gigantic shoe warehouse on our way to Santa Monica and we ended up getting matching red/white Pumas. Besides all of that, we just hung out at the townhouse in Studio City. To bad we never got to use the gym or the swimming pool though. They both looked cool. Overall, it was a relaxing weekend.

Work has been so-so. My next train-the-trainer course design is about 60% complete. It's something I've enjoyed creating, but we'll see how things go when I teach the course. I wanted to make this one different, since most of my employees are more experienced now. The other area that's taking to much of my freaking time is that training software validation. No, I am not a software person nor a validation engineer...yet, I am in charge of the validation. Yes, very strange....but nothing really surprises me when it comes to work anymore.

Work is something you have to do. How many people actually love their job anyway? I'm talking about having passion and drive and all that good stuff for your job. If you do, then I have to give you props cause you are a rare find. Most of us just come to work because it keeps us busy and it pays pretty darn well. We work hard, withstand pointless meetings, and then eventually go home...which I am waiting to do right now.

As far as other projects, Ron's new website (intro page and layout) is 80% complete. There are still some finishing touches that I need to add, but I'm sure it will be complete before his 9/9/03 release date. I also changed the layout to my intro and photo gallery pages to this. After having a website for awhile, things can start looking quite stale. I wanted to liven things up a bit. I really like the new gallery, especially the colors. Besides, I wanted all the pages on my site to have the same basic color scheme and layout. I have a weird habit of changing things around to often though. I can't help it. It's fun and I like seeing what things I can come up with.

Well, that's my little summary. Don't forget to check out my other pages and let me know that you were here by signing this journal or visiting my guestbook.

My journal has been abandoned!

Oh, so sorry journal. It's been a month since I've written here. I'm just getting really busy. My forum is keeping me busy, as well. I hope everyone has been doing well. I am feeling a little nauseas right now. Did I spell that right? Well, I'm been feeling so out of it lately. What's new, right? Well, went to a really awesome Norah Jones concert last saturday with my favorite buds in the whole world! It was fun. We went to a chinese restaurant & talked about scary movies until the wee hours of the morning. AARGH! Damn you AC, Ron, and Franny. You guys SUCK. He he he...
