I have been making extra effort to chill the past few days. I had a really busy week. It seemed like there was just always "something" going on. Well, the girls get-together was pleasant, but I was extremely disappointed in the suite at Hotel Palomar. The Hotel and suite were attractive, but they claimed the suite was 625 sq. feet and it didn't look like that at all. And poor Arlene slept on a chair, because the sofabed in the suite was plain rocked. It was bumpy! Melanie slept on it though and I'll never forget what she said when I asked her how she was in the morning..."i'm fine, but i think i dislocated my shoulder!". Ahahhaa...cracks me up. At least the hotel re-inbursed us for the extra rollaway that we requested. Also, that was planned to be a double, but only ended up being a single. We didn't really get to shop the following day because we decided that hanging out in the lounge was much more fun. We went to Roy's Fusion Restaurant the night before and it was delicious as expected. The caramel apple tart and the souffle are the two best desserts I've had in awhile. After, we toyed with the idea of going to Club NV since it was right around the corned, but opted to just hang out and talk in our suite instead.

I have to clean up the master bedroom more. I re-organized my closet because I just don't have enough space in there anymore. Franny still hasn't put up the closet organizer for the walk in and the main room. We've had it for over 3 weeks now, but he promised that he would get the one for the main room up by this friday. I really hope he keeps this promise. He's still playing the game cube like crazy, but I am starting to see hope that he might back off from playing all the time.

It is so nice to have free time now. I am almost 100% recovered from my Dec. surgery so it might be around time to get back to work in a month or so. I don't want to, but we need to have income in this house. My surgery cost way more than we anticipated. My doc's office quoted us for a 1.0-1.5 hour surgery, and as many of my family and friends know, my surgery ended up taking 5 hours long. SO...that means, the total cost is five times the amount that we expected. Duh, that totally makes sense though. It sucks, but it totally makes sense. I should have just bought my BMW with all that mulah. Nah, I'm just kidding...it's better to pay more to get an experienced surgeon, than to have an idiot surgeon who would just make things worse. My health is very important and we are both grateful for the surgery no matter how much it cost.

Hmm...what should I cook for dinner? I'm kinda craving chicken adobo, but I desperately need some veggies. I have to make something with cabbage and broccoli. I have been slacking on my diet. I've had a lot of really good desserts, but they're bad because they're so good. There have been so many birthdays in the last few weeks, so you know what that means - cake!!!! We even had the good, fudgy cake from Goldilocks. And every time we are at a mall, I crave for Mrs. Fields Milk Chocholate cookies. Yes, i'm out of control. And just last weekend, Ron came over with the chocholate cake from Macaroni Grill. Loved it. But as you know, chocholate = fat.
