It's new years eve...yippee!
Man, I slept most of the day. I didn't feel so good. I had depressing thoughts about my recovery. Finally decided that I was NOT going to let that ruin my evening. We just agreed to go to John and Verna's for dinner, and then we're heading over to Chris and Teresa's New Year's Eve party. This will be the first time I'm attending a function since the surgery. I am finally dressing in regular clothes! No more sweats or pajamas. Haha. My stitches are healing and they don't hurt anymore so I can probably start wearing jeans and stuff. I am so happy about that. I love sweats and comfortable clothing, but I miss dressing nice, too. I was looking in my walk-in and was wondering what to wear. Gosh, I had no idea, but finally decided on this top I got at forever for hella cheap. I'm serious. I got a steal =)
I'm glad I gave 7 bags full of my clothes to St. Vincent De Paul two weeks before my surgery. I also had 6 bags full of purses. I was going to save them for the garage sale we are going to have, but my friend wanted them, so I said he could take them. It has left a lot more room in my walk-in. I have decided to never go shopping again. I don't even use half my clothes and it's just a waste of money.
My hair is SO long...i need a haircut. And I can't wait to get these highlights out. I want my natural haircolor back! It's time after all these years. OKay, I think we're taking off...just wanted to keep this updated. Happy New Year's everyone!
